Thank you for the donations to our Halloween Party! They had been so excited all week to finally wear their costumes.
The kids are making some great gains towards becoming readers and writers! They are learning to blend sounds in simple CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) words and write the beginning, middle and ending sounds.
Phonics/Foundational Skills:
These are the letters your child should be able to identify and give the correct sound for this week: a, i, o, m, t, d, g and c
We are also learning to print these lowercase letters and build words with all the letters we have learned.

Home Activities: Your kindergartner can complete lesson 9.2, 10.4 and 11.3 this week in the reading packet I sent home.
Math: Counting to 100 by 1's, counting to 50 by 10's, identifying and writing 11-19 and 2 dimensional shape review. Next week we learn about addition!
