Red Barn Field Trip!

Monday, Oct. 9th our class will be walking to the Red Barn for some fall fun and learning!

We will arrive there at 9:30am and leave at 11:30am.  Parents are welcome to attend either by walking with us, or meeting us there.  We ask that younger siblings do not attend, as this is a special experience for our kindergarten students and all four Kdg classes will be attending together which makes for a lot of little bodies!

.  Student admission to the Red Barn ($8) per student will be covered by our Family Links through our Mustang's on the Move Fundraiser!  Thank you!!

Parents planning to attend, please send in $8 (cash only please) to cover your admission fee.  The admission fee includes picking a pumpki, a bag of apples, donuts and cider and all the fun and learning on the farm.  Adults, please be sure to get your pumpkins, apples and treats as you will have paid for them!  All parent money needs to be turned in by Friday, Oct. 6thAgain, no money is needed for students.

Mustangs on the Move Fundraiser!

We are beginning our annual MLE Fundraiser!  Please check your child's backpack for their collection information.  All money earned goes directly to our school and helps cover the costs of field trips, fun activities such as Field Day, Kona Ice and our Learning Fair as well as technology and special classroom celebrations.  Please consider helping us continue to provide some wonderful experiences for our student by collecting donations from family and friends!
All donations should be returned in the envelope by Monday, Oct. 9th.  During the week of Oct. 9th-13th the students will be participating in some fun health and fitness activities culminating with our Walkathon on Friday, Oct. 13th in support of all their donations collected!   For every $10 collected each student will get a ticket into a drawing for some awesome prizes!  Let's go Mustangs!!

Phonics

We spent time learning about letters Jj, Kk, Ll, Mm and Nn this week.  We continue to focus on a letter a day.   If your child misses one of our letter days, I will send the project home with him/her to do.  These projects do not need to be sent back to school.
