I just wanted to say a big Thank You!  Having all the extra parent/grandparent help at the museum was amazing!  I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.  I know how thankful I am to spend time teaching your children each day!

MLE Santa Shop

MLE Santa Shopping will take place for our class on Wednesday, Dec. 7th from 2-3pm.  Items range from 50 cents to $10.  Envelopes will come home next week.  Please fill them out and return them with the amount you would like your child to spend.  Please put these in your child's folder on/before our designated shopping date.  

Report Cards

First trimester report cards will come home on Monday, December 5th in your child's folder.

Reading

This week we became Super Readers!  We well be gaining new "powers" just like super hero's.  This week we earned Pointer Power and Reread Power.  We are learning new strategies to help us becoming better readers and writers.  

Math

This week we continued to learn the differences between flat and solid shapes.  We have been introduced to the cube, sphere, cylinder and cone.  We are also learning about addition and subtraction.  

Reminders

*  Send a snack daily.  Several have been forgetting a snack lately.

    Be sure it is separate from their lunches and easy to find.

*  Return library books every Monday.
