November 11th

Next Friday is a 1/2 day of school and the end of the first trimester.  I will be completing assessments next week that will be reflected on your kindergartner's report card.  The report card will come home on Monday, Dec. 5th.  

Field Trip to the Grand Rapids Public Museum

Please click on the link below for more information.  Our field trip is Monday, Nov. 21st.  We will meet parents at the museum around 9:40am.  We will then break up into our 4 groups and begin our adventure at the museum.  We will be finish up at the museum at 1:00pm.  Students will need a sack lunch as we'll be eating at the museum.

Reading

The kindergarteners are becoming experts at finding Snap Words when reading!  We have finished up our unit on Old Time Favorite Storybooks.  

Math

This week we continued to learn the differences between flat and solid shapes.  We have been introduced to the cube, sphere, cylinder and cone.

Reminders

*  Send a snack daily.  Several have been forgetting a snack lately.

    Be sure it is separate from their lunches and easy to find.

*  Return library books every Monday.
