We had a busy 2nd week of school!  We started our Number Corner activities, had sharing time, read lots of Pete the Cat books and celebrated Pink Arrow Day.  Just a reminder there is no school tomorrow and Monday for the holiday break.  Please send back library books on Tuesday as we are missing our normal Monday library time.  

Next week we will begin learning/reviewing the first letters of the alphabet.  We will be focusing on a letter a day and learning all about our friends names. 

Classroom Parent Rep Needed

Every year Family Links requests a parent rep to help with activities we coordinate thru out the year. Parent Reps are needed to help students shop at the Santa Shop, decorate their teacher's door for Staff Appreciation week, help collect items for the Learning Fair baskets and other volunteer activities thru out the year.  If you would be interested in this position, please email me ASAP! :)

Reminders

*  Send a snack daily.  Be sure it is separate from their lunches and easy to find.

*  Return library books every Monday (Tuesday this week)

Take a Peek at our Week...

We visited the library and got to listen to a story with Mrs. Judge and pick out a new library book.  Please help your child to keep their library book in their backpack as it's "home" when you're not reading it.  This way it will always be there on Monday.

We had our first fire drill!  These guys did awesome!
