So good to see most everyone back and healthy! It was a short week with winter finally deciding to arrive, but it was still a fun-filled week of learning!
Reading/Phonics
This week we spent time reviewing our Unit 1 and 2 Snap Words and today we had fun teaching our stuffed animal friends all we know about them!
Today in your folder is an assessment of the first two units of Snap Words. Please continue to practice these at home. Your child should be able to read them in a SNAP. Remember they don't want to sound them out, they want to read them by memory.

Math
This week we played a game called Monster Squeeze to help us understand the concepts of greater than and less than. We also are focusing on recognizing and making numbers from 11-20. We have found that each of these numbers has one group of ten and some more. Practice naming these numbers at home, too! Our goal is to recognize and name 0-20!
Today we played an addition dice roll game!
Reminders
* Send a snack daily several have been forgetting.
* Send a water bottle daily...our drinking fountain is now working, too!
* Return library books every Monday
