December 17th

 

December 17th

We had lots of kids coming and going this week, so we spent most of our time doing review lessons. 
Thank you for all your donations to our class party!  The kids had so much fun with our Polar Express Day!  Our letters from Santa arrived just in time, too.  Special thanks to Santa's Elves at the high school for all their help!  :)

 Reading/Phonics

We practiced all our Super Reading Powers this week!  It's so much fun seeing these little ones begin to read!  We introduced the Snap Words (in   &   it) this week.  Be sure to spend some time over the break practicing these Snap Words

Math

We continued working with number stories this week and finding the missing addend.

*  Send a snack daily several have been forgetting.
*  Send a water bottle daily...our drinking fountain is now working, too!
*  We are having Storytime instead of rest time now.  Towels may remain at home.  :)
