Field Trip to the Wittenbach/Wege Nature Center:
Thursday, Feb. 24th from 9:30-12:00pm
We will need at least two parent volunteers to meet us there! Let me know if you are available. I am still in the need of at least one more parent volunteer. Thank you Mr. Cowan for volunteering! It is always a fun trip snowshoeing!
Conference Sign Up:
Conferences are the week of Feb. 7th. All conferences will be virtual or by phone. Sign up if you haven't done so already.
Global Play Day!
Next Wednesday we will be participating in our annual Global Play Day, where the kids get to direct their activities throughout the day. It's a wonderful time for them to solve problems and be creative!
Reading/Phonics
As writer's we're learning to...
*put space between our words
*put a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence
*spell SNAP words correctly
*match our pictures to our words
*write all the sounds we hear, not just the first and last sounds.
All these things help make our writing easier to read!
