Halloween Party

I will be sending out a Sign Up Genius on Monday to donate items to our Halloween Party, which will be held on Friday, Oct. 29th.  Unfortunately, parents will not be able to attend the party again this year, but we would appreciate any donations you can help with.  We ARE able to have a Halloween Parade this year.  Please plan to join us outside at 2:30pm to see all of our little ghosts and goblins.  You will be able to take your child home with you following the costume parade.  I will have a sign out sheet and the kids will be packed and ready to go.

All donations must be turned in the morning of Oct. 20th to be entered into the prize drawings!  

REWARDS AND PRIZES FOR STUDENTS 

- Students receive a raffle ticket for the first $30 in donations raised. 

- Every additional $10 earns them another raffle ticket 

- A t-shirt on walkathon day.

 - A Grand Prize for the top 2 fundraisers in each grade 

 - A Pizza Party for the class that earns the most.

Grand Rapids Public Museum Field Trip

Mark your calendars for Monday, November 15th.  We will be going to the Grand Rapids Public Museum.  It's always nice to have lots of parents at this trip.  More information will be coming out later this month.  Mrs. Khodl, our substitute, will be attending the field trip with our class that day as I have to take my daughter on a college visit.

This week we made shape monsters!  We will be learning about circles, triangles, rectangles, squares and hexagons!  Have your child look for these shapes around your home.

*  Send a snack daily several have been forgetting.

*  Send a water bottle daily...our drinking fountain is now working, too!

*  Wash towels over the weekend and return them on Monday
