Reminders:  No School on Monday

Halloween Party/Parade

We will have a Halloween Snack/Party at 10:15am on Friday, Oct. 31st.  The costume parade will begin at 10:45am.  Families are welcome to attend and watch the parade.  Following the parade, parents will come in to sign out their child from the classroom.  Students should wear their costumes to school on Friday.  Please remember that students may not bring toy "weapons" to school as part of their costumes.

Upcoming Field Trip

We will be going to the Grand Rapids Public Museum/Planetarium on Monday, Dec. 8th.  We will arrive at the museum about 9:40am and will be leaving the museum at 1:00pm.  Students will need to bring a lunch that day as we will be eating at the museum.  I will need four parents to lead a group of students at the museum.  These four will receive free admission to the museum.  All other parents may attend, but will need to pay for their admission at the door upon arrival.  All parents attending must have filled out a Volunteer Consent form prior to attending.  If you are interested in being a lead volunteer, please email me and I will put all the names into a drawing if we have more than four volunteers.  Admission for students is paid for with the Mustang's on the Move fundraiser!

Field Trip Volunteers

If you plan to attend any of our field trips this year, please fill out the Volunteer Consent form that is in your child's folder today.  This must be submitted and approved by the district prior to attending.  If you need an extra one, feel free to make a copy, or I have attached a link to it on my email today.  Please note that you must include a copy of the front side of your driver's license along with the form.  This will cover you for all of your children in the district for the entire year.
