In your child's folder today is a Nonsense Word Fluency one minute challenge page to do at home next week. If your child missed getting one today, due to the power outage, it will be sent home on Monday!
We have been busy working on our farm books for the Learning Fair next Wednesday, Feb. 26th! During the Learning Fair you'll have a chance to tour through all the classrooms and see what other grade levels are learning about and enjoy an evening of music and ice cream in the gym. At the end of the evening, the classroom Learning Fair baskets will be raffled off. Hope you can join us!
Conferences are coming the week of March 17th-21st.

We have a field trip to the Grand Rapids Children's Museum coming up on Wednesday, March 12th from 9:30-11:30am. We are able to take five parent volunteers along with us. If you are able to attend and lead a small group, please consider signing up below. In order to attend you must have a volunteer consent form on file with the office.
Dates for your calendar

May 12th--10:00-12:30am Field Trip to the Dairy Discovery Farm
Reading: Continue to practice the sight words. I will reassess the kids again later next week.
Math: We are learning to decompose numbers to solve missing addends. We are also learning to find all the equation combinations of numbers to 10.
