February 27th

February 27th

Hey parents! This week we learned more about plants and what they need to grow! The kids were so excited to show off their hard work at the learning fair. We will be sending their tree books home today. Encourage your child to read the book they made to you! -Ms. B

March is Reading Month!

During the month of March we will be getting extra reading hours in at home!  Today in your child's folder is a map of the US and a reading calendar.  Please follow Mrs. Burnett's directions for reading at home.  For every book your child reads to you, or you read to them, they will be able to color one state on the US map.  You will continue to do this throughout the entire month of March.  At the end of the month you will send in your child's map with the states colored in for the amount of books they read.  For every ten states/books they complete they will earn one ticket towards a drawing for some fun prizes!   The kindergartners have the opportunity to earn up to four tickets.  Have fun reading and "traveling" across the US!
