March 14th
Phew! The cold/flu bug hit me this week. My voice started leaving me on Wednesday afternoon and it's still gone! Hoping with a little more rest it will be good to go for next week.
Having been out yesterday and today, I can't tell you how pleased I am to hear back from the substitute teachers on how well behaved the class is!
Conferences are coming next week. Today, in your folder is your child's report card. Please look it over and bring any questions you might have to your conference. If none of the times work with your schedule, please email me and we can try to make other arrangements.
Thank you to our parents that were able to attend our field trip on Wednesday. The kids had so much fun and it was a good opportunity for them to practice their social skills with their peers and the public.
As the weather starts to warm up, our playground is starting to dry out a bit. Please continue to send your child with boots as this helps keep the amount of dirt/mud that is being brought into the classroom.
Extra pairs of socks are always a good idea.
Kindergarten Round Up--Do you or someone you know have a child that is 5 or will be 5 by Sept. 1st? Be sure they get signed up with the office for our Kindergarten Visitation on May 13th. Parents and prospective K/Yng 5 students need to attend and must schedule an appointment.
